Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center is thankful to receive a $2000 grant from Sertoma Inc. to support the audiology department. These funds will be used to purchase expendable audiological supplies including items like insert ear plugs, disposable gloves, alcohol swabs, cleaning wipes, otoscope tips, and probe tips. Last year MRSHC served 819 patients during 1,661 encounters, all of which required expendables. The grant will also be used to support the purchase of additional spare hearing aid chargers to keep on site at the clinic for charging hearing aids that have been dropped off for repair.
